Many of our clinical professionals are also instructors. These individuals include accomplished Certified Surgical Assistants, Certified Surgical First Assistants, Licensed Surgical Assistants, Registered Nurse First Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Foreign Medical Graduates currently working in the Greater Houston area in a multitude of facilities and specialties. All of our clinical staff and instructors have been handpicked for their surgical expertise and appreciation for optimal patient care.

Clinical Management
Experts in their field, our clinical staff of surgical assistants have extensive experience in all specialties. With continuous training on state-of-the-art systems and technology, and current knowledge of the preferences and routines of the majority of surgeons, our assistants offer consistent, high quality care. In hospitals and surgery centers, we have proven to be vital to surgical teams, promoting shorter operative times, faster turnovers, increased surgeon satisfaction, and ultimately, better patient care.
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, our assistants are on call and at your service. Our schedule includes backup call for reliable, professional service even on weekends and holidays.

About the Advisory Board
Key Access Institute, LLC (KAI) is dedicated to setting the standard for surgical assistant education. Our faculty of industry leaders have skillfully translated their practical experience into a robust curriculum designed to enrich and prepare tomorrow’s surgical assistants.
