    We invite you to explore Key in Houston, the fourth largest city the United States and the largest in Texas. Houston’s population totals over 2 million within the city limits and another 3 million in the surrounding areas. The internationally diverse demographics of residents are reflected in the hospitable attitude and relaxed atmosphere of the city.

    Houston is proud to be a captivating combination of history, personalities and industries. Established in 1836, Houston has made its mark through the famous oil and energy booms, aeronautical space industry, and of course, is home to the globally-recognized Texas Medical Center – the world’s largest health care and medical hub.

    General Admissions Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • Must be 18 years or older

    • Successful candidates must either be exempt from taking TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or have passed TOEFL within the last 24 months

    Special Admissions Requirements for Completion of All Programs

    • Internet access

    • Typing and basic computer skills

    • Internet browser understanding

    • Medical prerequisites as detailed in enrollment policies

    • Reading, writing, and communicating in English

    KAI is dedicated to facilitating your advancement. That begins with the application and enrollment process.

    Simply follow the steps below:

    Determine which of our programs fit your goals. Visit the Programs and Seminars page for an overview of all programs. From there, click on the various program titles to view specific admission requirements and program details.

    Download an application and email/mail it with the required supporting documentation to KAI, or fill out an application online. There is a $100 application fee per application per program.

    Once your application is received, you will receive a confirmation email from Admissions. The application verification and review process typically takes one month minimum. Read the General Calendar Overview below for details on potential start dates of programs.

    Once you receive notification of acceptance into a program, Admissions will work with you to determine your desired start date and assist you with filling out necessary enrollment and orientation documents.
